WASHINGTON, Iowa - An Eastern Iowa man is facing assault charges after police say he assaulted his mother, throwing her into a snow drift, injuring her.
38-year-old Nicholas Furman was arrested and charged with domestic assault, displaying a dangerous weapon, and interference with official acts, according to KCRG-TV 9.
Police say Furman's mother told officers her son threw her into the snow drift, cutting her arm. She was taken to a local hospital.
