DES MOINES, Iowa -- State lawmakers are looking over four different bills that could legalize sports betting in Iowa.
A legislative subcommittee started a discussion Wednesday that could lead to the legalization of betting on professional and collegiate sports.
A 2018 US Supreme Court ruling lifted the federal moratorium on the activity.
One bill would legalize betting in all casinos and bring betting right to your cell phone.
None of the four bills were advanced, but each is still alive for future discussion.
