NEW HAMPTON, Iowa - A mother from northeast Iowa gets life in prison after being found guilty of her baby's murder.
Twenty-one-year-old Cheyanne Harris's four-month old son Sterling Koehn was found dead in a swing in the families residence in August 2017.
Police say the baby was wearing a maggot-infested diaper for over a week and weighed under seven pounds when he was found.
According to WHO Channel 13, Zachary Koehn, the baby's father, was also found guilty of first-degree murder in November and he's already begun serving a life sentence.
