PELLA, Iowa - The Pella Fire Chief cleaned snow off a fire hydrant as flames pushed through the roof of a manufacturing warehouse east of Des Moines before dawn.
The call came in early this morning around 4 a.m. from Van Gorp Manufacturing at 1410 Washington Street.
It's believed the fire was started by an oil burner.
WHO Channel 13 reports fire crews had the fire out by 5:30 a.m..
A janitor on site called in the fire, no one else was inside at the time.
