Over time, married couples develop unwritten "rules" within their marriage. I understand that if Boo and I are staying, or passing through, a town with an IKEA, we WILL stop there. And we will find things that we never knew we needed until we saw them.
The craziest experience that I've ever undergone at an IKEA was in Minnesota. We decided to buy a couch. We had a very small car. We pulled up to the leading curb, unloaded the pieces of the couch, and then....slowly over time...put the pieces in our impossibly small vehicle using our experience as Tetris players. When we done, people around us actually applauded!
Yes, I've come to love the little stick guy within the number instructions that come with IKEA items. And now...IKEA Is recognizing that love.
The VÅRKÄNSLA Milk Chocolate Bunny has arrived just in time for Easter and comes in three pieces you have to put together yourself.
It’s very Ikea and like a lot of their products, it requires no tools, but when you finish building it, you can eat it. The Bunny is three-ounces, contains a minimum of 30% cocoa and it’s UTZ certified, which means sustainable farming standards and safe conditions for workers. Ikea wants us to spend the $4.29 and then “Go ahead, play with your food!” Plus, it’s got to be the easiest thing we've ever assembled from there.
I love the fact that it has a Swedish name just like all the other IKEA products. In fact, when we wander around an IKEA, I often amuse my wife by continually trying to pronounce all the Swedish words. And by "amuse," I mean she sighs and shakes her head and counts it toward the cost of having a husband that will take her to IKEA.
