A chance to get better at marketing

Crop Weather & Market Outlook will be the focus of this week's meetings of the Ag Marketing Club. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is hosting three Central Iowa Ag Marketing Club meetings this week – all beginning at 6:30 p.m. and doors opening at 6 p.m - with crop weather and market outlook being the main focus.

Tuesday, March 12 – Lynnville, First State Bank, 413 East St.

Wednesday, March 13 – Conrad, Mid Iowa Co-op Grain Merchandising Office, 209 N. Lincoln St.

Thursday, March 14 - OgdenCommunity Center, 114 SW 8th St.

The featured speakers will be Dennis Todey, director of the USDA ARS Midwest Climate Hub and Steve Johnson, ISU Extension Farm Management Specialist. Plus, there will be a special event on Tuesday to honor a longtime, highly-respected member of the ISU Extension staff.

Participants will discuss examples of a written old & new crop marketing plans.

Club meetings are open to the public and there may be a small fee payable at the door.
