Iowa gets four cities on 100 Best Places to Live list

DES MOINES, Iowa - Cities in Iowa get four spots on a list of the 100 Best Paces to Live.

The new list from by Livability.com looks at cities for features that attract millennials.

The ranking is based on economics, housing, amenities, infrastructure, demographics, social and civic capital, education and health care. Livability says: "This year, we wanted to get back to basics, so we started with a single question: What matters most to you when you’re deciding where to live? That’s what we asked 1,000 millennials across the country in an exclusive survey."

Iowa City gets a top ranking at number 4

Award-winning public schools? Check. World-class hospitals? Yep. A walkable, thriving, vibrant downtown? For sure. Throw any hyperbole-laden statement at your description of Iowa City, and it will probably stick. Ames is ranked number 33
