McDonald's worker stabbed after fight over drive-thru order

DES MOINES, Iowa – A dispute with customers over a drive-through order leads to a stabbing at a Des Moines McDonald's location.

Des Moines police say it happened around 8:30 p.m. at the McDonald’s at 1404 Des Moines St.

The suspects came inside the restaurant after first going through the drive-thru. The dispute led to the manager throwing them out.

According to WHO Channel 13, the employee later stepped outside for a break and was assaulted by the suspects. The worker suffered a minor stab wound to the leg.

Police say no arrests have been made yet in the case.
