Jen Fletcher of Des Moines Parks & Rec joined us in the WHO Radio studio this morning to talk about the 2019 Mayor's Annual Ride and Run this Saturday, April 20th! Principal Park will host the pre-ride celebration and serve as the start line for each event. The 5K run/walk and 1-mile family fun walk start at 9AM, followed by the 22-mile bike ride taking off at 10AM. Participants can enjoy a kickoff celebration from 8:30AM to 10AM with breakfast from Hy-Vee and refreshments at the startling line for both events. Sign up online at www.dmparks.org.
