Violin Concerto in D Major, op. 61 by Beethoven, featuring Jonathan Sturm, violinist
This concert is a memorial to the DM Community Orchestra's founder, Dr. Janice Wade. She commissioned the piece, Journeys, from Linda Robbins Coleman. Dr. Wade also performed the Beethoven violin concerto as a soloist with the DM Community Orchestra a number of years ago.
There will be a pre-concert talk given by the director at 1:00.
