While it may not be beautiful weather for planting, it is a beautiful day to teach the next generation about where their food and fuel comes from at the Linn County Fairgrounds in Central City:
It's the annual Ag in the Park Day, a collaboration of four area FFA Chapters along with area businesses like Linn County Coop and Quaker Oats to put on a display of animals, machinery, processing tools and food in order to help young folks understand accurately how their meal ends up on their plate and the fuel ends up in their car:
