Dixon, Illinois - A school bus driver has been arrested after Illinois police say he was driving the school bus drunk with children on board.
55-year-old Timothy M. Cloutier Dixon, Illinois is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, and nine counts of endangering the life of a child on May 14.
Dixon Police said they began investigating after being alerted by the Illinois Central School Bus Company.
Cloutier is charged with two counts of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, nine counts of endangering the life and health of a child, and a count of reckless conduct.
KWQC-TV 6 reports Cloutier is in the Lee County Jail, pending bond.
