DES MOINES, Iowa - An arrest is made in a Des Moines Metro area murder-for-hire investigation.
Johnston police say 23-year-old Anna Plank, also known as A.J. Hernandez, was arrested Wednesday for trying to hire someone to kill the father of his girlfriend's child.
Police in Adel were first notified of Plank's attempts to hire someone to commit murder.
Investigators say Plank tried twice to hire someone, once online and once in person.
WHO Channel 13 reports one of the attempts was made in February and the other was made in May.
Plank is being held on $10,000 dollars bond.
