Butterfly Encounters
Join a naturalist on a guided nature walk in search of butterflies on Saturday, July 27, at 10:00 a.m. on the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge prairie. Learn techniques for identifying butterflies while enjoying the prairie in summer bloom. Recommended for adults and children ages 10 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult. We recommend that you wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and long pants. Bring insect repellant, sunscreen and drinking water. Meet inside the Prairie Learning Center.
