Iowa Makes Another Top Ten List...For Obesity

Look, there's a reason I talk about getting healthy on the show. I've been at the point where I've tried extreme things, had temporary success, lost my discipline, and considered giving up on getting healthy. But it CAN be done with small changes rather than extreme changes that make you unhappy.

That said, Iowans are still struggling with their health.

Consumer Protect, a consumer protection advocacy group, just released a report revealing the most and least obese states in the country, with West Virginia topping the most obese state, with 38.1% of their population considered obese. 

Ten Most Obese States In The Country

  1. West Virginia
  2. Mississippi
  3. Oklahoma
  4. Iowa
  5. Alabama
  6. Louisiana
  7. Arkansas
  8. Kentucky
  9. Alaska
  10. South Carolina

On the flipside, Colorado is the state with the least amount of obese residents, only about 22.6% of their population, with District of Columbia close behind in second with only 23% of the population obese.
