DES MOINES, Iowa - Early morning police dispatch audio reports a man's been shot during an attempted carjacking by three teens.
According to the dispatch report, which is not confirmed for details by Des Moines Police yet, the man called 911 telling the dispatcher he drove about three miles away from the site of the shooting to a convenience store on East Euclid to call for help.
Dispatch reports the man said three black male teens approached him in his car in the 900 block of East 6th, and when the man drove away one of the boys shot into the car, hitting him in the shoulder blade.
