Weak tornado touches down near Grand Mound, Iowa

DAVENPORT, Iowa- A tornado touched down in Clinton County yesterday (Sunday). The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities says the twister touched down on a farm southwest of Grand Mound, causing some damage to a home, uprooting a tree, and knocking down several branches.

Experts say the wind speed was around 85-miles per hour, it was 20-yards wide, and on the ground for less than a mile.
