DES MOINES, Iowa - Pleasant Hill firefighters respond to a house fire after neighbors saw smoke pouring out of the windows of the home.
The fire broke out early Wednesday morning and crews went to the 4600 block of Fairview Drive around 7:30 a.m.
Nobody was home at the time of the fire and officials think it started in the basement.
Neighbors tell police the house had been vacant for awhile.
The owners of the home were notified and then came to the location.
WHO-TV 13 reports nobody was hurt and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
