LEE COUNTY, Iowa- A southeast Iowa daycare provider has been charged in a child's death last year. Lee County medics were called to the Raisin Em Up Daycare in Donnellson, Iowa December 3rd, because of an unresponsive child. The child died at the hospital December 11th. Thirty-year-old Laura McDowell, the site supervisor and lead teacher of the daycare has been charged with Child Endangerment Causing Death, was booked into the Lee County Jail, has posted bond and has been released.
