Author Mike Chapman joined Van and Bonnie by phone this morning at the WHO Radio Studio, to talk about a big event coming to Newton on August 30th. Rocky Marciano lost his life in Newton on August 31, 1969 and on August 30th, to mark the 50 year anniversary of Rocky's passing, the City of Newton is going to erect a large information board on the major highway (Hwy. 14) into town. It will include a boulder called Rocky's Rock with his image and record on it...set just off I-80. You can hear the entire interview with Mike here...
