DES MOINES, Iowa -- One man is in the hospital with serious injuries after an early morning shooting.
"Medics were able to get there... he's in pretty serious condition but is expected to survive," said Sergeant Paul Parizek of the Des Moines Police Department. He says the man was shot in the chest and was taken to the hospital.
It all happened on the 2700 block of Ingersoll at around 4:30 this (Wednesday) morning, at the Star gas station.
"We were able to locate a couple of witnesses," Parizek said. "Detectives are interviewing them now, we've got a very vague suspect description and really no details on what the motive is."
No arrests have been made yet.
