US Army warning about possibility of mass shootings at "Joker" screenings!

Something to keep in mind before you or your kids attend the screening of "Joker" on October 4th!

The U.S. Army issued a warning about the possibility of mass shootings at upcoming screenings of ā€œJoker,ā€ according to a new report. In a widely distributed email on September 18 marked ā€œFor official use only,ā€ officials reminded service members to ā€œidentify two escape routesā€ and to ā€œrun, hide, fightā€ in the event of a shooting, Gizmodo reported. ā€œRun if you can,ā€ the message said. ā€œIf youā€™re stuck, hide (also known as ā€˜sheltering in placeā€™), and stay quiet. If a shooter finds you, fight with whatever you can.ā€ On Tuesday, the Army confirmed to Gizmodo that it issued the warning in light of social media posts from ā€œincelā€ extremists that were flagged by the FBI. The email explained that incels ā€œidolize the Joker character, the violent clown from the Batman series, admiring his depiction as a man who must pretend to be happy, but eventually fights back against bullies.ā€ An Army spokesperson said the message was routine.
