Concertgoer Can’t Find Where He Parked His Car… A Week Later

OK, I am TOTALLY commenting on this story because I can COMPLETELY emphasize. No matter how many times I tell myself, REMEMBER WHERE YOU PARKED THE CAR, I come out of stores and immediately dumbstruck - dude, where's my car? It's because I usually have my list of things to buy in my head...I just lock the car and walk without noting where the car is SITTING.

Connor Spear, 19, drove two hours from his home in the UK to go to the festival and had to park on a public street. Then he took a 10 minute cab ride to the event with his friends. Afterwards, no one could remember where they had parked and searched high and low.

Spear ended up catching a ride home. He and his mom spent the weekend searching for the car again, but turned up empty. His mom told the press, “I’m devastated and annoyed that he’s been so irresponsible.” The kid is offering a reward for the car’s return.

One trick I use: I try to remember to park near a place where people return the carts. That, at the very least, reduces the possibilities.
