OMAHA, Nebraska - A woman that had her car stolen in Des Moines is reunited with her dog in Omaha.
The Nebraska Humane Society explained what happened on Twitter Monday.
A woman had stopped at a convenience store in Des Moines for a few minutes. When she returned to her vehicle, it was gone. Inside was Jasper, her dog and her cell phone.
The owner used a phone tracking app and found her car was in Omaha. She then called the Nebraska Humane Society to see if anyone had information on her dog.
Animal control officers had just received information on Jasper and had picked him up.
The owner made the trip to Omaha to be reunited with her faithful companion.
