Learn the Basics of Bird Watching
Join expert birder and refuge volunteer, Denny Thompson, at the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, October 19, at 9:00 a.m., to learn the basic skills needed to enjoy bird watching. This program a great way for beginning birders to learn about bird watching. Learn about optics, bird books, and birding sites, as well as tips on how to identify birds.
