My wife encouraged me to order kids meals as restaurants that served huge portions as part of my health regimen. I do it regularly now, but, of course, I had to get over the potential embarrassment of being a grown-*** man ordering a kids meal. I also had the irrational fear that I'd be refused.

The Happy Meal turns 40 this year and McDonald’s is going all out to celebrate.
The fast food giant is bringing back some of its most popular toys included in the meal. Hello Kitty, My Little Pony, Power Rangers, Cowboy McNugget, Grimace, Hamburglar and Furby are among the 17 coming back. The catch? The Surprise Happy Meals will only be offered for four days starting November 7th.
Back in 1979, the Happy Meal was only offered with Chicken McNuggets.
