DES MOINES, Iowa - As cold as it's been this week, it's going to be a lot colder next Tuesday
National Weather Service Meterologist John Haase says the whole state will be cold but eastern Iowa will get the coldest air.
The record low in Cedar Rapids for Monday night into Tuesday is 5, for Davenport 8, and Haase (HAH-see) says we'll come very close to new records.
In Central Iowa, Des Moines and the surrounding area, including Ames will be near record temperatures a day earlier, from Sunday night into Monday.
