The University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital is getting another big check thanks to a viral fundraiser.
Nine-year-old Sam Hall of Bondurant presented a check to the hospital Sunday for a little under 17-thousand-dollars after he got inspiration from Carson King's fundraiser earlier this fall.
Hall went as King for Halloween after King's fundraising effort for the hospital that started at the CyHawk football game. Sam created a sign and Venmo account of his own and ended up raising $16,660.41 for the kids at the hospital.
King tweeted a picture yesterday of him and Hall holding up the check. Sam’s mom, Cindy Sobaski Hall told WHO-TV they're “forever grateful for all the generosity and kindness."
