CORALVILLE, Iowa - Police in Coralville believe they found the body of a woman reported missing last weekend.
60-year-old Kathryn Ironside was last seen Saturday afternoon near her residence in the 200 block of East 9th Street.
Iowa City Police confirmed they found a body in the Iowa River near Rocky Shore Drive at 9:45 am Thursday.
"Preliminarily, we believe we have recovered the body of Kathryn Ironside, reported missing Monday evening," said a news release from the Coralville Police Department.
Iowa City Police said on Tuesday it was looking into a case where someone may have jumped into the river.
KCRG-TV reports the Johnson County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the identity of the body which could take several days.
