FBI looking into Marion County crash where IED's were found

MARION COUNTY, Iowa - The FBI is helping investigate suspected improvised explosive devices that were found during a deadly truck crash in Marion County.

The Iowa Department of Public Safety says the homemade explosives (IED's) were found after Del Sorey crashed and died just east of Knoxville on January 12th.

The truck caught on fire after the crash and Sorey was the only person inside.

The State Medical Examiner identified Sorey of Arnolds Park, Iowa.
