DES MOINES, Iowa - Beginning Wednesday, roads surrounding Drake University will be closed ahead of President Trump's rally tomorrow.
The city of Des Moines has announced Forest Avenue will be closed between 25th and 27th streets from 8 a.m. Wednesday thru 11 p.m. Thursday.
Police say traffic in the city will be affected by the arrival and departure of Trump and vice president Mike Pence.
They say they'll release more information Wednesday.
The President's rally is set to begin at 7 p.m Thursday at the Knapp Center. Doors will open at 3 p.m.
Drake University students are back in session this week, which could affect parking on or near the campus.
