DES MOINES, Iowa -- The viciim of a Des Moines hit-and-run last week has died.
Police say Stephanie Markert, 71, has died of the injuries she suffered after being hit while crossing a street near Drake University last Thursday. She was hit in the 1200 block of 33rd St. and left laying in the street,
Police say they're still looking for Isaias Flores-Morales, 41, of Des Moines, who's wanted on a material witness warrant in the incident.
