DES MOINES, Iowa - Des Moines police say a man is in custody after a he crashed during a chase Monday night.
Officers say the pursuit started at the intersection of Beaver and Douglas avenues when 31-year-old Jerrad James Dean Six sped away.
Six then crashed into a pole, but was not injured in the single car collision.
He's in the Polk County Jail on numerous charges, including driving while barred. He's also wanted for theft and driving while barred in Story County.
