DES MOINES, Iowa - Accumulating snowfall of 1-3 inches is forecast across northern Iowa today.
A light glazing of ice is also possible, especially during the morning hours.
Travel impacts are expected for areas just north of Hwy. 20 to the Minnesota border.
For central and southern Iowa, most of the precipitation will be rain, though a brief period of a wintry mix cannot be completely ruled out.
After the precipitation on Monday, cooler temperatures will enter Iowa. Conditions will be mostly dry through the middle of the week.
