DES MOINES, Iowa -- Dry, windy weather's boosting the fire risk in parts of Iowa this weekend.
The National Weather Service says Southwest and South Central Iowa will be under a Fire Weather Watch starting Saturday afternoon.
The Weather Service says strong winds gusting to 35 miles an hour will mix with low humidity of 20 to 30 percent to boost that risk for fire.
We'll see high temps in the mid 60's to near 70 across the state Saturday and Sunday.
The National Weather Service says there is a chance for rain late Sunday night and through the day Monday.
