Man in Custody for Terrorist Threat to Waukee Schools

WAUKEE, Iowa - An Ankeny man's in custody after a threat toward the Waukee School District.

Issac Holtz faces a felony count of threat of terrorism and is being held on a $5,000 bond.

Holtz is accused of sending an email to 750 recipients overnight Sunday morning, saying he planned to rape and murder people in locker rooms

Waukee High School sent a letter to students, staff, and families announcing that they were made aware of a threat Sunday.

The district contacted law enforcement and officers were able to take Holtz into custody.

Police says there's no additional threat to the safety of staff or students.

All classes and are going on as scheduled at Waukee schools.

Police continue to investigate.
