WRIGHT COUNTY, Iowa - One person is dead from a single car crash in Wright County
The Iowa State Patrol says 23-year-old Jose Velasco Cruz failed to negotiate a curve in his Dodge Charger, causing his car leave the roadway and strike a tree.
Cruz was wearing his seat-belt but died at the scene east of Eagle Grove at 270th Street and Hancock Avenue.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
