Iowa State Patrol Limiting Access to Offices

DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa State Patrol has announced it's limiting public access to its district headquarters in response to the COVID-19/coronavirus outbreak.

It's asking residents to contact district offices by phone or email with non-essential questions. The State Patrol says it remains fully-operational with first responders, communications dispatchers and law-enforcement personnel.

“We thank the public for its support as we take unprecedented steps to ensure our staff remain healthy and prepared to provide mission-critical public safety services to Iowans,” said Iowa State Patrol Colonel Nathan Fulk in a news release.
