Council Bluffs Man Accused OF Shooting At Occupied Vehicle

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa - The man accused of firing shots at a moving vehicle in Council Bluffs Tuesday morning will be charged with attempted murder and harassment.

Council Bluffs police were called to the Sherwood Apartments on the city's east side around 7:30 a.m. that shots had been fired. Officers found the suspect, 26 year old Michael Kuder lying in a creek near the apartments. He was taken into custody and then to a hospital for an evaluation. He will then be booked into Pottawattamie Corrections.

Witnesses told police that Kudar fired several shots at an occupied vehicle, hitting it once. He then threatened to shoot another person but that victim was able to get away. Both victims say they did not know Kuder and he approached them at random.

The case remains under investigation.
