Guthrie County, Iowa - A two-year-old girl died after being run over by a vehicle in Guthrie County.
Sheriff's deputies were called to Guthrie County Hospital over a child that was run over by a vehicle.
They met with the driver, who said his kids and his wife were inside their residence located in the 2200 block of 200th Street when he went to his barn.
He said he was leaving the barn and got into the truck, backed up and then saw his daughter lying in front of the truck.
The man and his wife then transported the girl to the hospital where she died of her injuries.
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office believes this incident to be accidental at this time.
