DES MOINES, Iowa - Police say a man is injured after a shooting north of downtown Des Moines Sunday afternoon.
Officers say the occupants of two vehicles were shooting back and forth at each other, but don't think the shooting was tied or related to any residence in the area.
A man later arrived at a hospital with a wound related to the shooting, but the nature of his injuries is unknown .
Des Moines police detectives are investigating the shooting.
