DES MOINES. Iowa - The Polk County Sheriff's Office is joining a growing international movement during the COVID-19 outbreak called #aworldofhearts.
The sheriff's office is offering a badge and heart decal on it's Facebook page to place in car windows. It's also inviting people to come up with their own idea and decorate windows with hearts, to show communities that "we’re in this together."
The coronavirus related closures have prompted a number of similar movements. A quick search of #aworldofhearts founds participants across the U.S. and around the world, including in Scotland.
