DES MOINES, Iowa - Police have identified the woman who died after being shot while driving in Des Moines.
33 year old Des Moines resident Catherine Bobbitt was driving a car near 33rd and Kingman Boulevard inthr Drake University area.
She was in the car with her 17-year-old daughter when she was shot. The daughter called 9-1-1
Emergency crews located the car and transported Bobbit to a hospital where she later died. Police are still working to identify a suspect.
This is eighth homicide in Des Moines in 2020.
