NAACP Wants More COVID-19 Information On Iowa Minorities

The Iowa Nebraska NAACP wants more information on the race of people who have COVID-19 coronavirus in the state.

The NCAAP says Governor Kim Reynolds needs to release death rates by race and ethnicity and testing accessibility during her daily press conferences.

The organization says it wants to better understand how the virus is affecting minorities.

"This is important because we hear information and reports that people do not have access to testing so being able to show that across the board and understanding the pockets and where tests aren’t being provided is important as well,” Iowa Nebraska NAACP state president Betty Andrews told WHO-TV 13.
