COLLINS, Iowa -- The Story County Sheriff's Office is investigating the deaths of three people in Collins.
The sheriff's office says the three--62-year-old and 41-year-old women and a 20-year-old man were found just before 8:00 a.m. Tuesday in a travel trailer.
Authorities think the three, as well as three dogs found in the trailer, were likely asphyxiated by carbon monoxide.
The sheriff's office says foul play isn't suspected, and there is no threat to the public.
An investigation into the deaths is ongoing.
