DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Department of Corrections reports an escapee from a work release program in Des Moines. The department says Martell Antonio Lewis-Douglas, who was convicted of Robbery 2nd Degree and other crimes in Polk County, walked away from the Fort Des Moines Residential Facility without permission Saturday night, and has not returned.
Lewis-Douglas is a 21-year-old black male, height 5'11", and weighs 247 pounds. He was admitted to the work release facility on January 29, 2020.
Persons with information on Lewis-Douglas' whereabouts should contact local police.
