Twelve more COVID-19 deaths in Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa -- The COVID-19 coronavirus has killed 12 more people in Iowa.

The Iowa Department of Public Health says it brings the state's death toll to 219.

The Department also said Wednesday there were 293 new cases of coronavirus, pushing the state's total to 10,404 cases.

The state also says 414 people are now hospitalized with the virus. So far 3,803--about 37 percent--of people who've tested positive have recovered.
