DES MOINES, Iowa - An 18-year-old man's in critical condition after being shot in the head.
A Des Moines Police officer heard a gunshot near 31 Street and Clark Street in the Drake University area Sunday afternoon at about 5 p.m., and saw a car driving off at a high rate of speed.
The officer chased the car and pulled it over a short time later, and found numerous people inside, including a man with a gunshot wound to the head.
The man was taken to MercyOne Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition. Des Moines Police are still investigating the shooting.
