CLIVE, Iowa -- There isn't going to be a Bill Riley Talent Search in Iowa this year.
Talent Search president Bill Riley, Jr. says that in the interest of their young performers and their families with the ongoing COVID-19 threat, the event's being postponed until 2021.
Organizers says the decision to postpone came from the fact that local shows take place across Iowa from early June through August.
The Bill Riley Talent Search culminates every year with 11 days of competition at the Iowa State Fair.
The event marked it's 60th anniversary in 2019.
