Three east coast states are now requiring those who visit Iowa to quarantine for at least two weeks.
Public Health Departments in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York released guidance that says residents who have traveled to 16 states, including Iowa, must quarantine upon their return.
The guidance focuses on states that have a positive COVID-19 test rate higher than 10% over a 7-day rolling average.
These are the 16 states that fall into that category, according to public health officials:

- Arizona
- California
- Florida
- Georgia
- Iowa
- Idaho
- Louisiana
- Mississippi
- North Carolina
- Nevada
- South Carolina
- Tennessee
- Texas
- Utah
Iowa has seen a slight increase in positive coronavirus cases in the last seven days after declining over the past few weeks, according to the Iowa Department of Public Health.
